OUR STORY
About Us
We’re a Los Angeles, California-based freight forwarding company founded by Erik Bugarin Robles and Ana Lopez Acevedo. Our story began in 2009 at a small warehouse in the industrial community of Gardena, California, a few miles from the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
My first job after graduating from high school in 2009 was unloading green Evergreen containers from Saudi Arabia. In 2016, I entered the freight forwarding industry and gained a deep understanding of port drayage, ocean freight, international logistics, and the skills to solve complex supply chain issues.
After more than a decade of working in different sectors of logistics, Ana and I decided it was time for us to go on our own and founded Comex Logistics in 2022.
Our goal since day one has been to provide door-to-door supply chain solutions with a tailored and customer-focused approach.
The origin of the word “Comex” is Colombia and Mexico, our countries of origin.
