What is a Clean Truck Fee?
A Clean Truck Fee is A flat fee assessed by the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach per container. It’s part of a program called Pase de muelle. All import and export contenedores that in-gate or out-gate from the Port of L.A. must pay this fee.
Who Pays the Fee?
The importer of record / beneficial cargo owner pays the fee. Your freight forwarder or drayage carrier can also clear it, usually for a fee.
