What is a Blank Sailing?
A blank sailing is a sailing that the container line has canceled when demand for space is low or because of industry-altering events. A blank sailing could mean a vessel is skipping one port, or that the entire vessel journey is canceled.
How Blank Sailings Affect your Shipment
If your cargo was booked on a sailing that has been canceled, it will be rescheduled to move on the next available sailing. We will keep you updated on the status of your cargo via email and adjust your shipment schedule as needed.
